OUR STORY

Our story started with Tommy’s sister, Taylor. She had been one of my (Becca’s) best friends in NYC, after meeting at work.

6 years later, Taylor invited me (Becca) to come spend a weekend in Philadelphia for the Super Bowl. Please note, I almost bailed and Taylor convinced me otherwise. With high hopes the Eagles would take home the win, we headed down for a weekend in Philly with her brothers, their friends and a few of ours. To my surprise, I met her brother Tommy for the first time. We hit it off immediately and have been inseparable ever since.

The Eagles did lose tragically (there were a lot of tears), but something great still came out of that weekend. It only felt right to bring everyone we love most back to the city where our story started.

We spent the next 7 months driving back and forth between NYC and South Jersey each weekend to see each other, even throwing in a trip to Greece for my 30th birthday.

Eventually, I left NYC and we bought a house in Tommy’s hometown in New Jersey, with our golden retriever, Max. We live a couple minutes from the beach, just moments away from where we got engaged.

One of our favorite things to do is take Max for a walk on the beach. One day, when I least expected it, Tommy proposed on our routine walk. I was so surprised it took me a good 30 seconds to say yes, until the initial shock wore off. It was so special and intimate, just the 3 of us, exactly how I wanted it.

Over the past few years we’ve both started new careers, Tommy taking over the family business and me continuing to work in sports media. We have traveled, renovated our home and continued to build such a happy and peaceful life together. Can’t wait to celebrate our love with everyone!
